The GlenAllachie Single Cask 2009 14 Year Old Batch 6

Another new addition to the Single Cask range, distilled in 2009! This exclusive and very old 14 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the sixth edition was specially selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker. Limited to 302 bottles!

An expert in his field - Billy Walker, who is known for sourcing casks from specialist producers, sourced this particular cask of Sauternes Barrique - #3717 from a winery in South West France.

This French oak barrel previously held Sauternes, a dessert wine originating from Bordeaux. In addition to adding a golden sheen to the spirit, this cask lent an elegant flavour of stone fruit and sweet spice to the classic GlenAllachie honey spirit.

This 59,5%, unchilled, naturally coloured bottle comes in a gift box with an unusual front opening! We recommend serving it neat and at room temperature.
