Outstanding 3-Year-Old Single Malt Starward from the independent That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The first bottling of Australian single malt whisky, packed with rich notes of red fruit, is bottled at cask strength. On the label, you can see the distillery founder David Vitale and distillery manager Sam Slaney traveling through space. You know, because Starward. Batch 1 is a release of 466 bottles.

Starward, founded in 2013 in urban Melbourne, set out to create a consistent and approachable Australian whisky. It didn't take long for them to become the world's most renowned Australian whiskies. They are characterized by maturing primarily in red wine casks (specifically Barossa Shiraz). The local weather shows significant temperature variations, ranging up to 20 °C in a day. Maturation during the winter months can be as rapid as summer in Scotland!
