Tajna Sunset Dunaj 2024

Tajna Sunset Dunaj 2024 is a dry red wine from Slovakia that showcases the Dunaj variety in an elegant, deeper, and concentrated form. The grapes come from the Sari vineyard in the village of Tajná, where the medium-heavy, clayey, and occasionally stony soil helps create a wine with a firm structure and pronounced fruit expression.

The grapes were harvested in several stages to achieve ideal ripeness. After gentle processing, fermentation took place in vinifiers, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine aged in various types of barrel casks combined with a large oak barrel, which added depth, elegance, and a subtle touch of wood without overshadowing the varietal character.

The aroma is dominated by black currant, ripe cherries, black mulberry, and cocoa beans. The taste is full, harmonious, and structured, with finely balanced tannins and a pleasantly long finish. It pairs excellently with duck meat, game, or a rich chocolate dessert.
