Description
Redbreast Pedro Ximénez Edition is a unique single pot still Irish whiskey that has been triple distilled and initially matured in ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
It was then transferred to ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from southern Spain, where it aged for 12 to 22 months. These hogshead casks, which are half the size of standard sherry casks, increase the whiskey's contact with the wood, intensifying the flavor transfer from the Pedro Ximénez sherry.
This edition is part of the Iberian Series, which celebrates the long-standing connection of the Redbreast brand with the Iberian Peninsula and its winemakers.
Redbreast Pedro Ximénez Edition is bottled at 46% ABV without the use of chill filtration. It comes in a beautiful gift box.
