Cihuatán Xaman XO is an unusual ultra-premium 16-year-old rum named after Xaman, the mayor god of the North Star and the Cihuatán Valley .
In the heart of each of the bottles of Cihuatán Xaman rum, however, is a sleeping woman, a Mayan goddess and protector of the Cihuatán Valley. Legend has it that under the cover of night, he looks for the brightest of the stars in the sky - the North, to beg for wisdom and prosperity from Xaman before resting on the sacred tree of Ceiba for the valley and its inhabitants.
It is the first XO rum exported from El Salvador and is the work of Master Blenderka Gabriela Ayala. The elegant taste profile was created by extra-old Salvadoran rums , which matured for 15 years in American oak barrels after bourbon, and then completed the maturation with a year in barrels from the Mayan tree of Ceiba life . The wood from this tree was once used by the Maya to make protective items in combat, for spells that bring prosperity, and for making voyages. The bark of the tree was also used as food for its healing effects.
Rum is packed in cardboard packaging from sustainable sources with an FSC certificate. Enjoy it alone or on ice. It also tastes great with small snacks in the form of smoked and roasted meat, serrano ham, light cheeses such as brie, camembert, burrata, with olives or raisins.

Illy Guatemala is part of the exclusive Arabica Selection line, dedicated to single-origin Arabica. It comes from selected mountainous regions, including Fraijanes and Huehuetenango in Guatemala, where it grows at altitudes of up to 2,000 meters above sea level. The soil is rich and the environment unspoiled, with temperatures moderated by warm winds from Mexico - ideal conditions for coffee trees to mature and develop complex aromas.
After harvesting, the beans are exported to Trieste in Italy, where they are individually roasted according to a precisely defined profile and packaged in hermetically sealed pressure cans filled with inert gas to preserve their freshness for up to 24 months.
Guatemalan Arabica is characterized by a rich body, distinctive aroma, and subtle bitterness with a dominant hint of chocolate. The flavor also reveals notes of caramel, honey, and citrus fruits – a complex combination of sweetness and subtle acidity that adds elegance and depth.
The acidity and bitterness are low to medium (e.g., intensity ~5–8/10, acidity ~2/10), which gives the final profile a full but balanced enjoyment. The caffeine content is low (below 1,5 %), making it suitable for longer periods of drinking without a stimulating effect.
Illy Guatemala is designed primarily for espresso and lungo preparation, but it is also great in a moka pot, automatic coffee machine or filter. It excels wherever high extraction purity and profile details are preferred. Consumers appreciate its consistency – once the can is opened, the coffee retains its aroma for a long time if stored in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is packaged in a protective atmosphere in a tin can, which helps minimize oxidation even after opening.
These Cashews Roasted in Black Pepper come from Germany, where the nuts were imported and then processed (roasted and flavored) at Svět plodů. They have a delicate buttery core, complemented by an intense layer of black pepper (approximately 7 % of the spice mixture, including sea salt, dextrose, flavorings, onion, and spices), while the whole nuts make up 92 % of the content. This is a spicy and refined flavor alternative for lovers of distinctive tastes.
The primary contrast is between the mildly sweet, creamy cashews and the sharp black pepper, which stands out without dominating. Reviewers describe the product as an excellent combination of flavors that surprises with its intensity and character.
