Port Askaig Cask Strength Small Batch #01-2023

This single malt whisky Port Askaig Cask Strength was released as part of the brand's revival in 2023. It matures in ex-bourbon casks as well as in American oak casks and alongside the pronounced peat smoke from the Isle of Islay, notes of vanilla and citrus emerge.

Each batch consists of no more than 60 casks. Each cask is selected based on the flavors it brings to the whisky. Each batch will have a unique code and will display the cask breakdown, allowing the recipient to compare and explore the different flavors that the wood and blending bring to this Islay Scotch whisky each year. #Number 01-2023 utilizes the cask selection to create layers of sweetness, lemon zest intertwined with classic smoke from Islay.

Each batch offers a slightly different taste of Islay. The bottles are filled with a higher alcohol content of 59.4% with a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in gift boxes.
