Description
Paranubes Añejo is a natural Mexican white rum that comes from the Sierra Mazateca Mountains in Oaxaca. It is produced by wild fermentation of fresh sugar cane and molasses juice, which was grown on the farm of distillery master Jose Luis Carrera.
Sugar cane is grown in fields around the distillery without the aid of pesticides, chemicals or fertilizers on nutrient-rich soil. The distillery and also the fields are located at an altitude of between 1100 and 1800 m.n.m.
In the end, it matured for 18 months in American oak barrels, from which it acquired a pleasant vanilla-caramel taste. Perfect for a variety of rum cocktails.
