Paranubes Añejo is a unique Agricole rum that combines the authenticity of Mexican craftsmanship with the exceptional quality of organically grown sugar cane. This 32-month-old rum has been aged in ex-tequila barrels in the Sierra Mazateca mountains to offer a perfect harmony of flavours and aromas.
The production of Paranubes Añejo is a story of precision and tradition. Every detail – from the hand-picking of four varieties of sugar cane to mechanical pressing within 24 hours – is carefully controlled. The sugar cane juice ferments for up to four months in oak barrels without the addition of water. The result is a unique distillate with an alcohol content of 54,3 % that preserves the true essence of sugar cane.
The basic flavour of Paranubes Añejo is enriched by ageing in American oak barrels in which Cascahuin tequila was previously matured. This process gives it subtle notes of vanilla, caramel and wood, which perfectly complement the natural freshness of the sugar cane. The rum is bottled at cask strength to preserve its maximum intensity and richness of flavour.
Behind every drop of Paranubes is the history and passion of Jose Luis, a third-generation aguardiente producer. This rum is a profound tribute to the rich culture and nature of the Sierra Mazateca, a region where tradition meets innovation to create something truly exceptional.
