Description
El Ron Prohibido Silver is a premium white rum from Mexico, made from pure sugar syrup. This rum is fermented with its own yeast cultures and then triple distilled in distillation columns, giving it purity and smoothness.
It is then aged for approximately 6 months in lightly tanned oak barrels, which bring out its flavour profile. It is then filtered to retain its clear colour and fresh flavour.
The translation of El Ron Prohibido into English means 'forbidden or illegal rum'. It is distilled using a very old and traditional Mexican method using sugar cane.
This rum is ideal for mixing into various mixed drinks, but also for pure consumption. Its versatility and balanced flavour profile make it a great choice for any occasion.
