Paloma | Red Worm

Gusano Rojo is a true Mexican mezcal made from 100% agave of the Angustifolia variety. It comes from the Mexican state of Oaxaca, has been distilled twice, and aged for 2 months in oak barrels.

Gusano Rojo translates to Red Worm, which can be found both on the label and inside the bottle. It is the most widely sold mezcal in the world, available in over 22 countries. In fact, it is the larva of a moth that lives inside the hearts of agave and has been added since 1950!

Prepare a Paloma drink:
■ 50 ml Gusano Rojo
■ 20 ml Fresh lime juice
■ Thomas Henry Pink Grapefruit
■ 10 ml Agave syrup
■ Salt

Add mezcal Gusano Rojo, a pinch of salt, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, and ice to a shaker. Then close the shaker and shake well. Strain into a glass with ice and add Thomas Henry Pink Grapefruit soda. Garnish with a piece of grapefruit and the drink is ready.
