Mezcal Planta Santa Joven

Planta Santa Joven mezcal is produced in the city of Oaxaca in southern Mexico. Mezcal is a distillate made mainly from the variety of the agave plant Maguey Espadin but also other wild agaves. It is a young, ageless mezcal with a strong taste of cooked and baked agave. The strong and herbal taste is characterized by light tones of fresh mint and olives and sausages. The recipe for production and distillation has a tradition of more than 400 years, which has been passed down from generation to generation.

This mezcal is one of three that belong to the first and so far only series of the Planta Santa brand. Joven has a dark blue bottle color. The logo on the bottle is inspired by agave leaves.
