Planta Santa Reposado mezcal is produced in the Mexican city of Oaxaca. Mezcal is a distillate made mainly from the variety of the agave plant Maguey Espadin but also other wild agaves. Reposado matures for more than 4 months in American oak barrels. The recipe for production and distillation has a tradition of more than 400 years, which has been passed down from generation to generation.
This mezcal is one of three that belong to the first and so far only series of the Planta Santa brand. Reposado has a light red color. The logo on the bottle is inspired by agave leaves.
