13-year-old rum from Belize Mezan Belize 2008 matures for 3 years in a very exotic environment in Belize and then matures for 10 years in Europe. Mezan Belize matures in ex-bourbon barrels. Rum is made from local sugar cane. The distillery is located in the capital city Belmopan. It is naturally fermented and then distilled in a continuous distillation apparatus. Distill three times.
