Description
Mezan XO Jamaica is a blend from barrels of two Jamaican distilleries: Monymusk and Hampden. The Hampden distillery has Scottish roots and is one of the oldest sugar plantations in the country. It has always been known as a distillery producing high-caliber rum that creates alcohol for blending.
It is made from a blend of premium rums aged 4 to 23 years, which were transferred to additional barrels where they aged together for many years before bottling. The rums were distilled from high-quality molasses using Pot and Column Stills.
