Loch Lomond The Open Course Collection 2025
Loch Lomond The Open Course Collection 2025 is a limited edition 22-year-old single malt whisky created to celebrate the 153rd Open Championship, which will take place at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland.
Distilled in 2002 exclusively in unique pot stills at the Loch Lomond distillery, the whisky matured in American oak casks and then aged for six months in virgin Spanish oak casks. The result is an elegant whisky with complex notes of caramel, pineapple, warm spices and a hint of smoke.
This exclusive edition is limited to only 3,500 bottles, making it a rare treasure for collectors and whisky lovers alike.
The whisky perfectly captures the mastery and creativity of Loch Lomond Distillery, making it a fitting tribute to the history of the Open, its players and iconic golf courses. The production process involved both traditional methods and modern innovations, with the casks being handcrafted by the distillery's own team of coopers.
Master Blender Michael Henry personally oversaw the maturation process, which began in American oak and was finished in select Spanish casks. This special Spanish finish has given the whisky layers of flavor including caramel, cinnamon and toasted oak.
Bottled at 46,7 %, unchillfiltered and with its natural color, this whisky is a testament to craftsmanship and respect for nature.
