Description
Laphroaig The Cask Legacy is a smoky Scotch single malt whisky from the Isle of Islay, released as a synonym for the quality that made Laphroaig famous and a tribute to the distilling craft.
The whisky matured in first and second fill, heavily charred bourbon casks. It was then transferred for final maturation in small European virgin oak casks. For the Laphroaig distillery, this is a newly introduced process, where whisky from larger casks moved towards slower maturation, giving it a more pronounced depth. The result is not only a deep but also a flavor-rich and structured whisky with notes of peaty smoke, caramelized dark fruits, and oily woody tones.
Serve neat or with a few ice cubes.
