Lagavulin 12 Year Old Special Release 2021 is part of the prestigious "Legends Untold" edition, in which the distillery presented its iconic whisky in an unmistakable, wilder character. This 12-year-old single malt was matured in American oak barrels and bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.5%, which highlights its intense, distinctive and uncompromising expression.
The whisky reveals the typical Lagavulin DNA – massive peat smoke, iodine, salt from the sea air, citrus notes and a spicy finish. The special edition is one of the most sought-after among collectors and fans of Islay whisky every year.
