Description
Lagavulin 10 Year Old is a smooth, intense, warm and smoky single malt whisky from the Scottish island of Islay. Single malt whisky means that it is made from one type of malted barley and distilled in a one distillery. The whisky was matured for 10 years in first-fill American ex-bourbon oak casks. Nose provides notes of salty stones, red apples, caramel and peat smoke. The taste is accompanied by roasted almonds, chilli, caramel, apples and returning salty smoke.
