Each cask in this series is individually selected and perfectly matched to the character of each of the refined single malt whiskies. The two-part maturation process adds greater depth and complexity, which is the idea behind this limited edition - preserving the excellence of single malt whiskies that have already been praised for their exceptional flavours.

Lagavulin's superb whiskies were first matured in filled American and European oak casks. The second maturation was completed in American oak ex-sherry Pedro Ximenez casks and heavily flamed new AO ends.

This unforgettable Distillers Edition Lagavulin whisky delivers an exceptionally rich raisin-sweet flavour with a dark smoke that intensifies as the peat increases.

The whisky has been bottled at 43 % ABV and is presented in a gift box. We recommend serving the whisky at room temperature or with an ice cube.
