The limited edition Kilchoman Cognac Cask Matured has finally arrived! This unique single malt whiskey comes from the Islay region of Scotland. Another unusual release from Kilchoman!
The whiskey matured in ex-cognac casks for 6 years. These were casks from cognac directly from Tonellerie Bossuet in France. This maturation brings together individual flavors to create an incredible blend: sweet spices perfectly balanced with smoke from sea peat - truly something exceptional!
The whiskey was bottled at an alcohol content of 50 % without coloring or chill filtration. The bottles come in a gift box. A total of 32 casks were used for maturation, resulting in 15,100 bottles!
