The limited edition Kilchoman Cognac Cask Matured is finally coming to us! This unique single malt whiskey comes from the Islay region of Scotland. Another unusual release from Kilchoman!
The whisky has been matured in ex-cognac casks for 6 years. These were cognac casks direct from Tonellerie Bossuet in France. This maturation brings the different flavours together to create an incredible blend: sweet spices in perfect balance with the smoke from the sea peat - something truly special!
The whisky was bottled at 50 % alcohol without colouring or chill-filtration. The bottles come in a gift box. In total, there were 32 casks in which the whisky matured and 15 100 bottles were filled!
