Kilchoman 20th Anniversary 14 Year Old Ex-Sherry - Sold Out

This limited edition whisky Kilchoman 20th Anniversary 14 Year Old Ex-Sherry celebrates two decades of Kilchoman's artisanal excellence and offers an exceptional experience for lovers of bold and complex Scotch whisky.

The whisky-making process involves traditional malting and drying of barley with peat directly on the island (with a phenol content of approximately 20 ppm), followed by distillation, maturation in special sherry casks, and bottling without cold filtration, with natural color.

The whisky has an alcohol content of 55 % and has been carefully selected and blended by the distillery's founder to reveal its dark character – a perfect combination of rich sherry flavor and Kilchoman's signature smokiness.

Kilchoman is known for its robust, smoky identity, combined with pronounced fruity and spicy notes. This 14-year-old Ex-Sherry version delivers a rich and layered taste, where dried fruits, dates, chocolate, and subtle smokiness come together, creating a balanced and intense profile that reflects the spirit of Islay and the brand's artisanal precision.

Kilchoman Distillery, founded in 2005 by Anthony Wills, is the only farm distillery on the island of Islay that processes the entire "from grain to glass" process – from growing barley on the Rockside farm to bottling. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, it has prepared a limited edition called 20th Anniversary Cask Series, which includes exceptional casks representing each year of development. This 14-year-old whisky comes from five selected Oloroso sherry casks, in which it has matured since 2011.
