Kilchoman 20th Anniversary 14 Year Old Ex-Sherry

This limited edition Kilchoman 20th Anniversary 14 Year Old Ex-Sherry whisky celebrates two decades of Kilchoman's craftsmanship and offers an exceptional experience for lovers of distinctive and complex Scotch whiskies.

The whisky production process involves traditional malting and drying of barley with peat directly on the island (with a phenol content of approximately 20 ppm), followed by distillation, maturation in special sherry casks and bottling without cold filtration, with its natural colour.

The whisky has an alcohol content of 55 % and has been carefully selected and blended by the distillery's founder to reveal its dark character - a perfect combination of rich sherry flavours and the typical smokiness of Kilchoman.

Kilchoman is known for its robust, smoky identity, combined with distinctive fruity and spicy notes. This 14-year-old Ex-Sherry version offers a rich and layered taste, where dried fruit, dates, chocolate and subtle smokiness come together to create a balanced and intense profile that reflects the spirit of the island of Islay and the craftsmanship of the brand.

Founded in 2005 by Anthony Wills, Kilchoman Distillery is the only farm distillery on the island of Islay that handles the entire process ‘from grain to glass’ – from growing barley on the Rockside farm to bottling. To mark its 20th anniversary, it has produced a limited edition called the 20th Anniversary Cask Series, which includes exceptional casks representing each year of its development. This 14-year-old whisky comes from five selected Oloroso sherry casks in which it has matured since 2011.
