Herradura Añejo - damaged packaging
Product with damaged cardboard packaging.
Herradura Añejo is one of the true legends in the world of tequila. The Casa Herradura distillery, established in 1870, was one of the first to introduce the Añejo category to the market and is still considered a pioneer. Tequila Herradura Añejo ages for a minimum of 25 months in American white oak barrels, which is 13 months longer than required by standards. This extended process gives the drink extraordinary depth, nobility, and complexity that sets it apart from regular añejo tequilas.
Interestingly, Hacienda San José del Refugio, home of the Herradura brand, is one of the last traditional distilleries that still produces tequila directly in the heart of the Amatitán region in Jalisco, focusing on authentic practices and maintaining the quality of the agave.
