Second part of the Glengoyne Legacy series! This whisky is dedicated to Peter Russell, the chairman and founder of Ian Macleod Distillers, which purchased Glengoyne in 2003.
Glengoyne Chapter Two was matured in a trio of casks, specifically 48% in first-fill American oak bourbon casks, 17% in first-fill sherry casks (12% in American oak, 5% in European oak), and 35% in refill oak casks. The result is a fruity Scottish single malt whisky with aromas of cinnamon and vanilla.
