The 18th-century Plantation Versailles estate, then owned by the French L'Amirault family, was located on the west bank of the Demerara River and was famous for its golden rum. The rum is distilled in a simple wooden pot still and coloured with caramel before maturing for 12 years in oak casks.
This rum celebrates the smooth chocolate flavour of fine aged rum. It's perfect for enjoying neat or with ice to bring out its complex flavours and aromas.
