Zacapa La Doma is the first release of an exclusive but especially exceptional Guatemalan dark rum that comes from the limited edition Heavenly Cask Collection. This collection contains 4 rums that have gone through the unique Solera aging process with the help of different special casks.
The rum comes from the magical place House Above The Clouds, which is located in the mountains between active volcanoes at an altitude of 2300 meters. This collection embodies the passion and years of dedicated detail work that Master Blender Lorena Vásquez puts into the creation of Zacapa rums.
Zacapa La Doma matured in American ex-whiskey casks, known as Taming Cask, which gave it an extremely pleasant aroma full of refreshing notes of chocolate, wood and vanilla. It is made from a mixture of several rums that have matured for 6 to 23 years using the Solera system, which has given them a delicious fruitiness.
