De Luze XO Fine Champagne
De Luze XO Fine Champagne is a unique blend of eaux-de-vie from Grande and Petite Champagne, the most prestigious cognac AOC terroir, combined to create Fine Champagne Cognac.
Eaux-de-vie matures in French oak barrels, then the cellar master blends it using traditional methods. The blend shapes the body and roundness, giving De Luze XO cognac its smoothness and elegance on the palate.
In 1817, Alfred De Luze and his brother Louise-Philippe founded a company for exporting wine and cognac in New York. In 1822, De Luze Alfred A. & Son of Luze was established in Bordeaux. In 1862, Alfred Luze purchased Domaine du Chaigne in the Grande Champagne growing area to begin producing cognacs. After a period of inactivity in the early 20th century, Michel Boinaud revived the distillery in 1940.
The De Luze headquarters is located in Angeac-Champagne in the Charente department of France, about 7 miles south of Cognac. Deluze has its own cooperage that manufactures and repairs barrels.
Allow the cognac some time in the glass and enjoy it neat.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 40% with a volume of 0.7 l and are presented in premium gift cartons.
