De Luze VSOP Fine Champagne Mini
De Luze VSOP Fine Champagne is a smooth cognac made from a blend of eaux-de-vie sourced from the Grande and Petite Champagne regions of Cognac. The wine that serves as the base for this cognac is distilled without filtration.
In 1817, Alfred De Luze and his brother Louise-Philippe founded a company in New York for the export of wine and cognac. In 1822, the company De Luze Alfred A. & Son of Luze was established in Bordeaux. In 1862, Alfred Luze purchased Domaine du Chaigne in the Grande Champagne growing area to begin producing cognacs. After a period of inactivity in the early 20th century, Michel Boinaud revived the distillery in 1940.
The De Luze company is located in Angeac-Champagne in the Charente department of France, approximately 7 miles south of Cognac. De Luze has its own cooperage that manufactures and repairs barrels.
Give De Luze VSOP Fine Champagne cognac some time in the glass and enjoy it neat.
