Gautier XO is a rich blend of eaux-de-vie from 4 different regions with protected designation of origin: Fins Bois, Bons Bois, Grande Champagne, and Petite Champagne. All the eaux-de-vie used are at least 10 years old. Some of them come from a special cellar called "Paradise cellar" containing the oldest and rarest cognac eaux-de-vie aged up to 40 years.
The secret to the uniqueness and distinction of the Gautier brand lies in the unique cellars where these cognacs mature. They are located in a former water mill on the Osme River, where natural humidity continuously acts, allowing the cognac to gradually absorb tannins from the oak barrels during maturation, gaining its extraordinarily rich, rounded, and complex flavor.
