De Luze VS Fine Champagne Gentry
De Luze VS Fine Champagne Gentry is made from the finest eaux-de-vie from Grande and Petite Champagne. More than half of it comes from Premier Cru, which has rested in Limousin oak barrels.
The result is a unique cognac that showcases the expertise of Maison De Luze with its distinct character, amazing depth, and complexity.
In 1817, Alfred De Luze and his brother Louise-Philippe founded a company in New York for the export of wine and cognac. In 1822, De Luze Alfred A. & Son of Luze was established in Bordeaux. In 1862, Alfred Luze purchased Domaine du Chaigne in the Grande Champagne growing area to begin producing cognacs. After a period of inactivity in the early 20th century, Michel Boinaud revived the distillery in 1940.
The headquarters of De Luze is located in Angeac-Champagne in the Charente department of France, approximately 7 miles south of Cognac. Deluze has its own cooperage that manufactures and repairs barrels.
