Clynelish 12 Year Old Special Release 2022 is part of the Diageo Special Releases collection and represents the Clynelish distillery in its typically sophisticated yet lively expression. The whisky was matured in American oak casks and bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.5%, without chill filtration.
The characteristic waxiness of Clynelish from the Highland is combined here with notes of citrus, apple peel, honey, fine spices and mineral purity. The younger age adds freshness and energy, while the high alcohol content brings structure and a long, elegant finish. An exceptional choice for Highland whisky connoisseurs and collectors.
