Bundle Presidente Marti
Presidente Marti 15 is a high-quality artisan rum inspired by Cuba. However, its production takes place in the Dominican Republic, where it is not mass-produced, but with passion and great attention to detail, while the entire mixing process was overseen by the Master Blender from the Oliver & Oliver distillery.
It matured by using the solera system in American ex-bourbon and French oak barrels, where the oldest of the rums was up to 15 years old. This gave it a soft character, creamy texture and woody notes, which were completed by the final maturation in Pedro Ximenéz Spanish ex-sherry casks.
The rum is named after the Cuban national hero and poet José Martí.
The bottle comes in a representative cardboard gift box.
Rum Presidente Marti 19 Sistema Solera is a premium artisanal rum from Dominican Republic inspired by the Cuban national hero and poet José Marti. Its basis is fresh sugar cane juice combined with honest work and passion.
It is made from first-class raw materials and hand-harvested sugar cane. Rum was matured in ex-bourbon barrels using the solera system, while the oldest rum used was up to 19 years old. Presidente Marti 23 is a premium line of originally Cuban rum from the Oliver & Oliver distillery. Although it is located in the Dominican Republic, the distillery has roots in Cuba and stocks rums from the whole Caribbean and Central America.
No surprise that this rum line founded inspiration in Cuba. José Julián Martí Pérez was a politician, writer and leader of the Cuban independence movement in the mid-19th century. Today, he is considered one of the greatest national heroes there. The tribute to this hero comes in the form of rum, which is matured in French and American oak barrels using the traditional solera method. The delicious flavor profile of rums from this line is completed by the final aging in Pedro Ximenéz Spanish ex-sherry casks.
The combination of rums of different ages up to 23 years gives Presidente Marti 23 smoothness and depth. It is excellent in combination with a Cuban cigar.
