Presidente José Martí

Presidente José Martí is a Dominican rum created by the Oliver & Oliver family, renowned for their mastery of the Spanish-style Solera ageing method. This rum pays tribute to the Cuban writer and national hero José Martí, with a flavour profile that highlights elegance, gentle sweetness and subtle woody tones.

The rum is produced from a blend of spirits of various ages that mature in the Solera system in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. This ageing method ensures a velvety texture, smoothness and a balanced, lightly fruity character.

On the nose, it reveals notes of caramel, vanilla, raisins, candied fruit, gentle spice and a soft touch of oak.

The palate is soft and harmonious – honey, caramel, dried fruit, nougat, butter caramel, tropical fruit and subtle spice.
The finish is smooth and medium-long, with tones of vanilla, caramel and dried raisins.

Presidente José Martí is ideal for sipping neat, on the rocks, or as a quality base for sweeter rum cocktails.
