The bottles are filled at 40 % alcohol with a volume of 0,7 l.
Tequila Don Julio Blanco is distilled exclusively from 100 % blue Weber agave, hand-picked after more than six years of cultivation under the supervision of founder Don Julio González at a high altitude (1981 m) in the mountainous region of Jalisco.
The piñas are slowly baked in brick ovens, then fermented in stainless steel tanks with the brand's own yeast. This is followed by double distillation in stainless steel stills with copper coils. This version (Blanco) is aged only very briefly in neutral tanks or not at all, without barrel aging.
The aroma is dominated by fresh agave and citrus notes. The taste is delicately sweet with vegetal and tropical undertones, continuing into a delicate spicy finish. The structure is clean, refreshing and pleasantly dry.
The finish is medium-long, fresh and spicy with menthol notes. Don Julio Blanco is very versatile — perfect for drinking straight or as a base for cocktails such as Margaritas or Palomas — without losing its character.
The bottles are filled with 38 % alcohol and have a volume of 0,7 l.
