Meet Añejo Tequila, which is clear! El Mayor Cristalino is a Mexican tequila made from 100% blue agave, matured for more than 12 months. It was then filtered through ultra-fine charcoal. The result is a tequila with the complexity and character of an añejo and fresh, bright notes and a blanco color.
Tequila El Mayor is produced by the González family company, who create their tequilas by hand according to 150-year-old traditions in the rocky mountains of Jalisco, near the city of Arandas.
Color: crystal clear
Nose: cooked agave, oak with hints of vanilla, fruity undertones leading to herbal notes
Taste: oak with an emphasis on dry fruit and vanilla
Finish: fresh, full of herbal and citrus notes
