Balblair 12 Year Old

Balblair 12 Year Old whisky comes from one of the oldest Scottish distilleries, founded in 1790 in the Highlands region. It represents the introductory expression of the new Balblair core range, focused on an elegant, clean and natural style typical of this distillery.

The whisky matures in a combination of American oak ex-bourbon barrels and double-fired American oak casks, which add depth, gentle spiciness and a rounded vanilla-wood character.

The result is a beautifully balanced single malt with classic Highland freshness, rich fruitiness and a smooth, lightly spicy profile.

On the nose, it offers notes of ripe apples, vanilla, honey and citrus peel, accompanied by a hint of sweet spice.

The palate is smooth and harmonious – honey, pear, vanilla, tropical fruit, soft oak sweetness, buttery caramel and a touch of fresh spice.

The finish is medium-long, clean and elegant, combining honey, vanilla, gentle spice and sweet oak.
