It was matured in Oloroso sherry casks that previously contained Glenmorangie Original, and subsequently Glenmorangie Lasanta was created. Three years later, Ardbeg Uigedail came on the market. The 1565 cask impressed so much that it was set aside for an exceptionally long maturation and subsequently bottled for this cask whisky. This is a limited bottling of 555 bottles.

The bottlings are bottled at 51 % alcohol with a 0,7 l capacity.
