Description
This unique Guatemalan 12-year-old rum Zacapa Centenario Ambar was created by Lorena Vásquez, Master Blender in Zacapa as a tribute to the volcanoes of Guatemala. The ash contributes to the fertile soil, which gives a special sweetness to the sugar cane used to make Zacapa.
It is a blend of rums from 4 to 12 years old, aged in the mountains at an altitude of 2300 meters, using the Solera system in barrels that previously stored strong American whiskey, quality Jerezz sherry wines in burnt white American oak barrels. Zacapa Centenario Ambar is excellently drink clear, but is also suitable for traditional rum cocktails such as Mojito or Cuba Libre.
