The Octave Glentauchers 2009 12 Year Old + Free Gin Sul
Glentauchers is an exclusive 12-year-old Scottish single malt whisky, distilled in 2009. It comes from the Speyside region and is part of the limited collection The Octave, which includes the finest single malt and blended malt along with single grain whiskies that have matured in ex-sherry casks.
The Glentauchers whisky matured for a long 12 years in oak casks, which imparted a vanilla flavor with notes of apples, oak, and nuts. It was then transferred to ex-sherry Octave casks, where it aged for 9 months. Finally, the whisky was bottled in 2022 with a limited release of 88 pieces!
We recommend serving it neat and without ice.

The juniper distillate is created in a small, handcrafted, copper distillation apparatus. All alcoholic vapors must pass through a metal sieve containing herbs.
Cold, clear, and soft water from Lüneburg Heath, Portuguese lemons the size of grapefruits, juniper, fresh rosemary, and the oily resin from the herb cistus (rock rose) make GIN SUL exceptional. A hint of the Portuguese Atlantic coast is filled into typical white clay bottles, which protect the gin from light and heat.
