Tamdhu Batch Strength No. 005

The fifth release from the multi-award-winning Batch Strength Series by Tamdhu. Rich natural color and maturation exclusively in sherry casks, this is a Scottish single malt from Speyside - Tamdhu Batch Strength No. 005.

Like every whisky in the series, Batch Strength 005 is distinctive and varies slightly in style. The Tamdhu distillery is known for its maturation in sherry casks, but here it goes even further. The finest of the finest Oloroso casks are used for maturation. Young, once-filled casks are carefully hand-selected to achieve the best possible result.

Aroma: Brazil nuts, cinnamon, warm vanilla
Taste: cream, sharp summer berries, a drop of water reveals citrus notes, oak, and freshly baked cookies
Finish: warming spice and fresh sweetness of clementine peel
