Description
Porta Leone Prosecco DOC Rose Brut is an Italian rosé sparkling wine made from grapes of the Pinot Nero and Glera varieties. The harvest is hand-picked at the end of August in the Treviso wine region in northern Italy (elevation 50 m above sea level). It ferments in a pressure tank with selected yeasts. It is bottled and then allowed to age for several weeks in a controlled warehouse.
Perlage: fine and long
Color: light and gently pink
Aroma: fruity notes with a hint of tropical fruit
Taste: fresh and slightly robust
Excellent as an aperitif in combination with fish, seafood, or delicate meat dishes and cheeses. Best served at a temperature of 6 to 8 °C.
