Piccini Collezione Privata Rosso Toscano is an Italian red wine made from 4 grape varieties: 40% Merlot, 20% Cabernet, 20% Syrah, 20% Sangiovese, wine region Toscano IGT, Italy.
After pressing and crushing, the grapes undergo temperature control in stainless steel tanks. After maceration, the wine ages for 12 months in a combination of large barrels and barrique barrels, using specific barrels reserved for Sangiovese and barrique barrels for international grapes. The result is a harmonious and well-structured wine with rich complexity.
The bouquet of the wine reveals its rich and opulent nature, adorned with notes of spices, chocolate, ripe plums and blackberries. In the palate, delicate sweetness emerges, leading to a prosperous and full experience.
The taste of sweet wood, resin and ripe fruit dances on the palate and delights the senses. The supple tannins contribute to a velvety texture, long-lasting and deep flavor.
We recommend serving it with roasted meats, poultry, and aged cheeses at a temperature of 18 °C.
