Super Rare Old is a famous Japanese blended whiskey from Nikka. It contains a high proportion of malt from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. Super Nikka is a classic style of blended whiskey with fine peat and hints of vanilla and sherry. These beautiful flavors are rounded and balanced with a smooth texture and a delicate mouthfeel. Overall a very good mixture with enough taste of malt and dried fruit.
Aroma: malt, boiled apples, oatmeal, pears, beeswax and honey
Taste: rich, full of malt, balanced and high quality, tones of orange peel, caramel, oak, peanut butter and cocoa
Finish: decently long with stewed fruit, cloves and cinnamon
