Super Rare Old is a famous Japanese blended whisky from Nikka. It contains a high proportion of malt from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. Super Nikka is a classic style of blended whisky with gentle peat and hints of vanilla and sherry. These beautiful flavors are rounded and balanced with a smooth texture and a delicate mouthfeel. Overall, a very good blend with plenty of malt and dried fruit flavor.
Aroma: malt, cooked apples, oatmeal, pears, beeswax, and honey
Taste: rich, full of malt, balanced and high quality, notes of orange peel, caramel, oak, peanut butter, and cocoa
Finish: moderately long with stewed fruit, cloves, and cinnamon
