The Kaikyo Distillery presents the blended whisky Hatozaki Pure Malt, made from 100% malt whiskies, distilled in Japan as well as imported. It matures in three types of casks: bourbon, sherry, and Mizunara oak. It is named after the nearby stone lighthouse Hatozaki, which is the oldest in Japan.
It is known for its smooth taste and rich aromas. The scent of this whisky is fruity with notes of apples and citrus, complemented by subtle hints of wood and smoke. On the palate, there are tones of vanilla, spice, and a mild sweetness. The finish is gently smoky with a touch of dark chocolate. It is popular among whisky lovers worldwide and offers a great experience whether enjoyed at home or in the company of friends.
