From Kaikyo Distillery comes blended whiskey Hatozaki Pure Malt, made from 100% malt whiskies, distilled in Japan but also imported. It matures in three barrels, namely bourbon, sherry and Mizunara oak. It is named after the nearby Hatozaki stone lighthouse, which is the oldest in Japan.
It is known for its smooth taste and rich aromas. The aroma of this whiskey is fruity with notes of apples and citrus, complemented by subtle hints of wood and smoke. The palate reveals notes of vanilla, spices and a slight sweetness. The aftertaste is slightly smoky with a hint of dark chocolate. It is popular among whiskey lovers around the world and offers a great experience when consumed at home or in the company of friends.
