Loch Lomond 24 Year Old The Open 152nd Royal Troon Collection
Made to commemorate the 152nd edition of the Open Championship at Royal Troon. This rare 24-year-old single malt Scotch whisky was distilled in 2000 at Loch Lomond, using a combination of whisky from unique pot stills Straight Neck and more traditional pot stills Swan Neck.
Aged in American oak and finished in ex-sherry casks Manzanilla from Jerez, resulting in a complex single malt whisky with notes of baked apple, honey, and nutmeg, as well as hints of marzipan and toasted oak.
This 24-year-old whisky celebrates all the Open Championships from the very first in Prestwick in 1860 to the 152nd Open Championship this year at Royal Troon. The single malt whisky from the Open Course collection was created by Master blender Michael Henry.
The Open Course Collection whisky is bottled at 47.1 %, non-chill filtered, and has natural coloring to keep everything as nature intended. Packaged in gift boxes. Only 4,500 bottles are available worldwide.
