Kilchoman 20th Anniversary 15 Year Old Ex-Sherry is a limited edition release to mark the 20th anniversary of the Kilchoman distillery, showcasing the exceptional quality of its craftsmanship and a unique celebration of the island of Islay. The production process involves drying the barley with peat (phenol content approx. 50 ppm), traditional double distillation and subsequent maturation in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a rich and complex flavour profile that combines sweet fruit notes with the typical peaty and smoky characteristics of Kilchoman.

Kilchoman is known for its distinctive and smoky character, complemented by fruity and spicy notes. This 15-year-old Ex-Sherry edition strikes the perfect balance between sweet fruit, spices and subtle maritime notes. It is a perfect example of an Islay Scotch whisky that will appeal to experienced whisky lovers and collectors alike.

Kilchoman Distillery, founded in 2005 by Anthony Wills, is the only distillery on the island of Islay that carries out the entire process ‘from grain to glass’ – from growing barley on the Rockside farm to bottling. To mark its 20th anniversary, it has prepared a series of casks to celebrate each year of its existence.

This 15-year-old whisky comes from five Oloroso sherry casks (filled in 2008–2009) and was bottled in April 2025 with an alcohol content of 52,7 %. The whisky has not been artificially coloured or chill-filtered.
