Juraj Zápražný Red Traminer 2022

Slovak white dry wine Tramín červený with a quality varietal designation from the winery Juraj Zápražný. Vintage 2022, South Slovak wine region, municipality Jasová. The wine comes from a family business that cultivates several hectares of its own vineyards.

The wine has a richer golden-yellow hue with a penetrating typical spicy aroma supported by rose oil and acacia honey. The taste combines elegant minerality with rich tropical fruit, primarily lychee. It gradually transitions to dried figs and honey.

This variety is the pride of the winery, so great emphasis is placed on its handling both in the vineyard and in the cellar to the maximum possible extent. Interestingly, Tramín červený has a berry color ranging from pink to red, yet it produces a deep yellow wine. We recommend serving at a temperature of 12-14 °C. The sugar content at harvest is 22.5°NM. Residual sugar 3.1 g/l and acidity 7.5 g/l.

Bottled maturity 1-4 years at a storage temperature of 10-12 °C.
