Jose Cuervo Especial Reposado is a smooth golden tequila created by blending young and mature tequilas from the oldest distillery in the world – La Rojeña.
It is based on the highest quality blue agave, hand-picked and slowly cooked to preserve maximum flavor. It is then traditionally pressed and distilled in copper stills, after which it is aged for at least 6 months in American white oak barrels, which give it its characteristic color and complexity.
Reposado means "rested," which is reflected in its balanced flavor. This is a tequila that retains its smoothness thanks to aging, while gaining depth and maturity.
