Jose Cuervo Especial Reposado is a smooth golden tequila created by blending young and aged tequilas from the world's oldest distillery – La Rojeña.
The base is the highest quality blue agave, hand-harvested and slowly cooked to maximize flavor retention. It is then traditionally pressed and distilled in copper pot stills, after which it ages for a minimum of 6 months in American white oak barrels, imparting its characteristic color and complexity.
Reposado translates to "rested," which is reflected in its balanced flavor. This tequila retains its smoothness due to aging while gaining depth and maturity. It is the perfect choice for those seeking a traditional Mexican spirit with a richer expression – whether as an ice-cold shot or the base of a quality cocktail, such as the legendary Margarita.
