Highland Park 15 Year Old Viking Heart is a lightly peated Scotch single malt whiskey with a viking heart.
The local Master Whiskey Maker Gordon Motion selected predominantly European oak ex-sherry casks for its maturation to awaken warm and spicy notes in the whisky. These were completed with American oak ex-sherry casks to balance it with sweet vanilla notes. The resulting whisky was finally bottled at 44% alcohol, revealing lively fruit notes and a peaty-heather character.
