Havana Club Tribute 2020

The fifth edition of the beautiful Havana Club Tributo. Tribute 2020 pays tribute to the unique aging and re-mixing process used in Cuban rum.

After mixing each batch of Cuban rum, it is customary to set aside a portion of this mixture and return it to the barrel for use in future rum production. This was also the case with Tributo rums. Small amounts of previous editions have always been reserved for re-maturation.

For the release of Tributo 2020, Cuban Rum Master Asbel Morales decided to mix several previous Tributo reserves together and then add rum from special barrels, reserved only for special occasions, to the mix. The result is fine Cuban rum with astonishing depth and complexity. Dense, intense and rich with a touch of smoke from the Tributo 2018 edition and tones of dark chocolate and coffee.
