Clase Azul Reposado
Thomas Henry Grapefruit pairs perfectly with this product. Mix yourself one of the world’s most famous cocktails – the refreshing Paloma.
Clase Azul Tequila Reposado is one of the most famous tequilas from the Clase Azul brand and its first iconic creation. It combines aged tequila with distinctive Mexican craftsmanship, represented by the characteristic white ceramic decanter adorned with cobalt blue brush strokes.
Tequila ages for 8 months in American whiskey barrels. The aging adds greater depth and roundness while still maintaining the pronounced character of cooked agave.
The aroma blends cooked agave and agave nectar with candied orange peel and toasted wood. Gradually, hazelnuts, cloves, and vanilla are added.
The taste is smooth and full. Sweeter notes of agave nectar and ripe orange complement roasted hazelnuts, bittersweet chocolate, cinnamon, and cloves. The finish remains gently spicy and pleasantly long.
An iconic ceramic decanter is a separate part of the experience. Each one goes through a process from shaping the clay to the hand application of the characteristic cobalt blue strokes. Clase Azul states that creating one Reposado decanter takes about 7 days.
The result is a tequila suitable not only for slow tasting but also as a distinctive gift or decorative collectible.
